Apple Launches Exclusive App for Indian Customers

India Gets Official Apple Store App: Apple has officially unveiled a dedicated app for its online store in India, aimed at delivering a more personalized shopping experience for customers. The app, available for download on the App Store, is designed to enhance the way users explore and purchase Apple products and services.

Karen Rasmussen, Apple’s Head of Retail Online, expressed excitement over the launch. She said, “At Apple, our customers are at the heart of everything we do. We are thrilled to introduce the Apple Store app to connect with even more users in India, further strengthening our bond with them.”

The Apple Store app is packed with features that make shopping seamless and engaging. Users can browse the latest Apple products, accessories, and services, while also discovering programs like Apple Trade-In and financing options. The app’s “For You” section provides personalized recommendations tailored to each customer’s preferences.

After making a purchase, customers can use the “Go Further” tab to access online Personal Setup sessions with Apple specialists, watch quick tips through short videos, and sign up for 'Today at Apple' complimentary sessions at nearby stores.

The app further allows shoppers to personalize their devices. Customers can configure their Mac with custom features like a more powerful chip, additional memory, or extra storage. They can also engrave their AirPods, iPads, Apple Pencil Pro, Apple Pencil (2nd generation), and AirTags with names, initials, numbers, or emojis in eight different languages. Soon, users will also have the option to add digital gift messages.

Apple has already established its physical presence in India with two retail stores in Mumbai and Delhi, which opened in April 2023. The company plans to further expand its footprint with additional stores in Bengaluru, Pune, Delhi-NCR, and Mumbai.

Easy Delivery and Pickup Options

The Apple Store app not only simplifies shopping but also makes delivery and pickup more convenient. Shoppers can either have their purchases delivered straight to their homes or choose to collect them from the store.

After launching its first two stores in Delhi and Mumbai in April 2023, Apple is gearing up to expand further in India. The tech giant plans to open new stores in Bengaluru, Pune, Delhi-NCR, and Mumbai in the coming months.
