We don’t try to price to it differently in different markets: Philip Schiller

Apple Inc is starting its business in India and many of the Apple buyers are in a misunderstanding that the company will lower its price. There’s nothing like this, Apple announced that it would have the same prices of the devices it used to have in the global market.

The news was broken by the Apple’s Vice President of World Wide marketing Philip Schiller, he said that company never decides the different prices for different countries, while, it allots same rates in all the places.

Phillip Schiller said, “We don’t try to price to it differently in different markets and make it as affordable as possible in each market. We don’t say let’s try and make it more affordable in this market in comparison to another.”

Schiller also explained how products are priced, “What we try to do and has worked well for Apple is to create products for the entire world that has benefits of that engineering focus and that scale, while also making sure they excel at the needs of the local market.”
