If you talk about Netflix's Rs 199 plan, the plan is made available from today. It can be streamed in SD quality. It provides only one screen to users. With a low-cost plan, it doesn't have TV casting support. The company has launched only mobile-based plans because the percentage of sign-ups on Netflix in India is high. Here,the most sign-ups are on mobile. The company wants to bump amazon Prime Video and Hotstar out of this plan.

For your information, the plan is currently being tested. It will then join the portfolio of Rs 499, Rs 649 and Rs 799. Earlier, the company was testing a Rs 250 plan but had to reconsider it to launch it. For Hotstar, users are required to pay a charge of Rs. 299 per month. Amazon Prime users on the other hand, has to pay Rs 129 per month.
