AR Rahman survived by dying two days before getting Oscar, thus avoiding big accident

AR Rahman, who proudly elevated the name of Bollywood cinema and country, is celebrating his 54th birthday today. The musician has achieved considerable successes in his career. His music is heard by people of every class. People of every generation are fans of his music. The magic of his music is loved by all even beyond the borders. Rahman was awarded the Oscar for Slumdog Millionaire. Two days before he won the Oscar, he survived a major crisis.

AR Rahman has mentioned that incident in many interviews. Just 2 days before Oscar Ceremony, he went to the American television industry's well-known host Oprah Winfrey's show. After the discussion was over, Rehman got up and reached the door, when the chandelier fell with part of the roof where he was sitting. Rahman says that on that day he was shaken but even after that he was not scared. He realized that he would become history within a few seconds.

Oprah Winfrey is an extremely big fan of Musician Rahman. Apart from him, former US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle are also one of the biggest fans of Rahman. Rahman was born on 6 January 1967 in Madras. In his early career, he used to compose music for jingles and ad. After this, his luck was reversed when he was given the opportunity to compose the song by AR Rahman in the film Roja.
