The Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor is reuiting with Parineeti Chopra for upcoming movie Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar and the film has created quite a lot of buzz because of its delay in release. In an interview, Arjun recently shared as to why the film, which has been completed long back, not yet released.
Explaining the resons for delay in the release of the film, Arjun Kapoor told Mumbai Mirror that film is a unique multiplex film and they need a window of opportunity to release it. He said, “Namaste England was ready in the time Dibakar sir was cutting the film. So, we pushed it for later as we needed a gap between the two films."
The film falls in the thriller/romance genre and is directed by Dibakar Banerjee. He revealed that the makers of the film did not want a box office clash.

The actor further said that he did not want a box office clash. He added, "Then, Luka Chuppi and Sonchiriya happened to be opening on the same date that we had decided for Sandeep Aur Pinky... Why would you want to get into a three-way tussle? The film is ready and it’s just a matter of releasing it at the right time."

In the film, Arjun will play a Haryanvi cop, while Parineeti essays the role of an ambitious girl from the corporate world whose lives suddenly intertwine.
