All the people were asked to download this app in their smartphones. Although the guidelines that came in this regard, it was made clear that it is mandatory to download or get this app specially in the phone of people working in government or private offices. But many such complaints and questions on social media Are coming in which it is said that the housing society is also insisting on downloading it. At the same time, many people also say that they do not own a smartphone. Some say that there is only one smartphone in the house and that is what their child uses to study online.

Some people even cite their old age and said that they do not know how to operate a smartphone, then how will they be able to easily use the Arogya Setu app. A senior official said on Saturday that according to the guidelines during the lockdown, the use of the Arogya Setu App is only mandatory for government and private employees. Has been taken, not for domestic help or any other such matters. Because there is no special requirement to use this app for the people living at home. Yes, they can download if they want. He said that the officers and employees who go to the offices are outside the house, which is why it is mandatory for them to download this app.

He said that though the government is encouraging all people to download the Arogya Setu App with a smartphone. Explain that about 120 crore people in the country have mobile phones. However, about 35 crore of these people own a smartphone. The Home Ministry official said in the clarification that it was clearly stated in the instructions of the Ministry that this app is mandatory for employees of both private and public companies. Not only this, it will also be the responsibility of the company head that all its employees download this app.
