On the anniversary of independence on August 15, all the freedom fighters of the country who sacrificed everything for the country's independence are remembered. One of the great men is Khudiram Bose, who, at the young age of 18, did what is inspiring for the youth of every generation. Today is the 113th death anniversary of the great freedom fighter Khudiram Bose. Khudiram Bose was sentenced to death on August 11, 1908, for throwing a bomb at a sessions judge's car. He was only 18 years 8 months 8 days old at the time of execution. Khudiram was born on December 3, 1889, at Trailokyanath Bose in Midnapore, West Bengal. Khudiram Bose's parents died when he was very young. He was brought up by his older sister. Khudiram Bose had been driving away from his school days in political activities against the British. At a very young age, he used to join the processions for freedom and raise slogans against British rule. They had such a strong flame of liberating the country that they dropped out only after class 9 and jumped into the swadeshi movement to give the country independence after Bengal was divided in 1905 and started his revolutionary life under the leadership of Satyen Bose. Khudiram Bose was hanged in Muzaffarpur jail on August 11, 1908, after being arrested by British soldiers. Some historians consider him to be the youngest revolutionary patriot to be hanged for the country. After his martyrdom, schools remained closed for several days, and the youth began to wear dhotis with 'Khudiram' written on their banks. After the execution, Khudiram Bose became so popular that the weavers of Bengal started making a special kind of dhoti with 'Khudiram' written on their banks.
