Hyderabad: Telangana celebrates its Formation Day on June 2 every year. Telangana means a place spoken in Telugu. Whose history is about 2500 years old. The resolution was passed in both parliaments in 2013 during the tenure of Manmohan Singh. Telangana was declared a separate state on June 2, 2014 and Shri K Chandrasekhar Rao became the first CM and E S L Narasimhan became the first Governor of the state.
