When Sehwag changed his decision on Jaitley's suggestion

New Delhi: Veteran BJP leader and former finance minister was active in cricket as well. Jaitley passed away at AIIMS at 12 o'clock today. He had been sick for a long time.  Being associated with the sports world, he had close ties with the people of the world. So, there is also a wave of hobbies here. Jaitley was also the President of the Delhi and District Cricket Association. He also contributed a lot to the careers of many cricketers like Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag.

Sehwag and Jaitley had always had good relations, but there was a time when there was a rift between the DDCA and Sehwag and then it turned into distances. The distance was so wide that Sehwag had planned to leave Delhi and move to Haryana. He was preparing to play from Haryana. All formalities were also completed.

But as soon as Arun Jaitley came to know about it, he himself spoke to Sehwag and tried to stop him from leaving Delhi. After much talk and explanation, veteran player Virender Sehwag agreed with Arun Jaitley and did not leave Delhi. Not only Virender Sehwag, Delhi's Gautam Gambhir, Ashish Nehra, and others were very good relations with Jaitley. Expressing grief over Jaitley's demise, Sehwag said that he has played an important role in giving many cricketers from Delhi an opportunity to represent India.
