Itanagar: The Excise Department of Arunachal Pradesh has achieved great success by raiding various places in the state. The Excise Department has seized 300 bottles of whiskey after raiding a house in Babri village in Kherwara. Excise officer Lakesh Jaishi has told that the landlord Banshi Lal Meena managed to escape from the spot, whose search is on. Jamadar Mangilal played a special role in the action. The police and the Excise Department have arrested 2 people for alleged liquor smuggling from several places in the city. Since which 53 cases of alcohol and 2 cars have been seized. After this action, police are searching for other gang members. In the first action, the excise team arrested a man named Mohan Sharma with 25 petty liquor in a Santro car from Vijayanagar police station area. Excise Inspector Ashish Pandey said that the Centro car was carrying liquor with the Haryana mark in Bulandshahr. In the second action, Sihani Gate police station seized 28 cases of liquor containing Arunachal Pradesh mark from a car during a search in Nandagram at night. The station in-charge said that the name of the accused is Naveen. He was supplying this type of illicit liquor from Delhi to the area for many days.
