Coronavirus is wreaking havoc in northeastern states. Arunachal Pradesh has reported 2 new corona cases in the last 24 hours, taking the positive tally to 16,689. While one of the cases is symptomatic, the other case is symptomatic. The deadly disease has claimed the lives of 56 people in the state. The state’s recovery rate stands at 98.88% According to the latest bulletin on Covid19 released by the directorate of health services, 26 more patients, who were earlier infected by corona, have been discharged after their recovery in the last 24 hours. A total of 16,503 patients have been discharged after their recovery in Arunachal Pradesh so far. Meanwhile, In another northeastern state Assam, Two more persons died of Covid19 infection in Assam on Sunday, taking the state’s death toll to 1,037 while the positive tally increased to 2,15,939 with the detection of 29 new cases.29 Cases detected out of 10305 tests conducted today with a positivity rate of 0.28%.
