Will CBSE board exams be canceled? Kejriwal says this is best decision in current situation

New Delhi: CM Arvind Kejriwal has demanded the cancellation of CBSE examinations amid rising coronavirus cases in the country's capital Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal said during a press conference on Tuesday that the papers of the CBSE should be canceled immediately in view of the prevailing situation. Kejriwal said this is a better decision in view of the current situation.

The Delhi CM further said that about 6 lakh children in the capital have to appear for the CBSE exam, about one lakh teachers will be put on duty. In such a situation, they are afraid of becoming corona hotspots, so the central government should cancel the examinations. Arvind Kejriwal has also urged people to leave the house only if it is very important. Leave the house only after following every rule.

Arvind Kejriwal said that the banquet hall is now being attached to hospitals in Delhi so that patients at low risk from hospitals can be taken to the banquet hall. Surgery waiting in Delhi hospitals is just being stopped only emergency patients are being treated. The Delhi CM has appealed to the people to get the vaccine done immediately if they are eligible.
