And now, we have learnt that Arya is all set to team up with the director once again. While there was buzz that the actor would be producing Santhakumar’s next, Arya tells us that he will be playing the lead in it as well. “We had decided right after Magamuni’s release to work together again. Santhakumar is working on the script and we should go on floors soon after,” says the actor, whose Sarpatta Parambarai, Aranmanai 3, and Enemy are in post-production stage. Then, there’s a film each with directors Shakti Soundar Rajan and Nalan Kumarasamy. “Nalan has a few ideas, and he’s working on the script. So is Shakti! So, whoever is ready first, I’ll start shooting their film,” he says with a laugh.\ Magamuni is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language crime thriller drama film written and directed by Santhakumar. The film stars Arya in dual roles along with Indhuja Ravichandran and Mahima Nambiar. Kaali Venkat, Rohini, Jayaprakash, Ilavarasu, and Aruldoss play supporting roles. S. Thaman scores music for the film, and editing is handled by V. J. Sabu Joseph. It was theatrically released by Tarun Pictures on 6 September 2019 to highly positive reviews from both critics and audience.
