Asaduddin Owaisi: There is no Modi wave like 2014

There is no Modi wave in Lok Sabha elections like 2014. MIM party chief Asaduddin Owaisi has claimed that there will be a non-BJP and non-Congress alliance government at the center and a regional leader will be the Prime Minister. Owaisi, who was three times MP from Hyderabad constituency, said that this year's election will be a big challenge for 543 seats.

In an interview given to a news agency, Owaisi said that there was no Modi wave as of 2014. This time elections will be open. In Hyderabad, there will be a lot of competition in every place. Our party is part of ‘non-BJP, non-Congress’ front led by Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) founder and chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

He said, this front will be required to represent the political diversity of India and there are many regional leaders who are capable of being compared to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress President Rahul Gandhi. The desperate BJP is using national security in the elections to hide its failures. But people will not fall prey to a false promise. They said that they would vote responsibly.

While referring to a report, he said that there is a direct fight between the BJP and the Congress in 100 seats out of 543 Lok Sabha constituencies. But in the 320 constituencies, there will be a triangular contest between BJP, Congress and regional parties. Speaking on the issue of declining political representation of the Muslim community, he said that there were no Muslim MP in 280 of the 280 seats won by the BJP in the 2014 elections. Because BJP wants to run a democracy that represents only the majority community. If I speak against Modi, it does not mean that I speak against the majority. I have never been against the majority. He said that I am against BJP and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
