Legendary actress Asha Parekh, who once ruled everyone's hearts in Hindi cinema with her complexion and her acting, has done tremendous work in films and she has been the heroine of many successful films till now. She had decided to be alone for her life and there is an emotional reason behind this, which she has revealed in her biography and then in an interview given to Verve magazine. She had said that when asked about her single status, "It was the best decision of her life".

During this time Asha said that, "The person she loved the most was married." By marrying him, she did not want to be called a woman who broke the house. So, the only option left for her is to remain single for life.
