Jaipur: Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, while taking a sensitive decision in the interest of the agricultural produce mandis traders of the state, has approved the proposal to implement the Interest Waiver Scheme-2019 for settlement of their outstanding mandi fees and other funds. According to this scheme, merchants will get a rebate of 75 percent on the basic interest amount and late fee on payment of outstanding mandi fees and other amounts up to 30 September 2019 by 31 March 2020. Recently, the market traders requested the CM to start the interest waiver scheme after considering it sympathetically. On which Gehlot has approved the proposal in this regard.
