New Delhi:- The Asus ROG Ally launched in India on Wednesday as the company's first handheld gaming PC running Windows 11. It has a 7-inch LCD display and is designed to play AAA titles and simple games at 1080p resolution. The Taiwanese company has launched ROG Ally in two variants for the global market, powered by AMD's new Z1 and Z1 Extreme chipsets. The Indian version will feature the Z1 Extreme chip, which combines 16GB of RAM with 512GB of onboard storage. has a 40Wh battery and can be charged at 65W via the USB Type-C port. Asus ROG Ally is priced at Rs 69,990 in India for the RC71L model with AMD Z1 Extreme processor. You can buy it through Asus E-Shop and Flipkart, as well as the company's Asus Stores and ROG Store. According to Asus, customers who purchase the ROG Ally by July 15 will be offered a case worth Rs 2,000 for Rs 1. The Asus ROG Ally runs Windows 11 by default and features a 7-inch Full HD IPS LCD display (1920 x 1080 pixels) with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a response time of 7ms, and a peak brightness of up to 500 nits. This handheld gaming PC comes with 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512 GB of NVMe storage, expandable with a UHS-II MicroSD 4.0 card slot. As for connectivity, the Asus ROG Ally supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. It also features a USB Type-C port used to charge the 65W 40Wh battery in the console. It features dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and an array microphone with AI-powered noise-canceling technology. The console is equipped with thumbsticks, ABXY buttons, D-Pad, analog triggers, and bumpers. The size is 280 x 111 x 21.2mm and the weight is 608g.
