Hungary: Austria's Foreign Minister, Alexander Schallenberg, has emphasized the importance of a pragmatic stance towards Russia, urging Western allies to avoid a complete severance of ties with Moscow as it would not serve anyone's interests. In an interview with the Financial Times on Tuesday, Schallenberg underscored that despite condemning Russia's invasion of Ukraine, maintaining open lines of communication is crucial. Schallenberg stressed the necessity of realism in dealing with Russia, acknowledging that a complete cutoff of ties would be unfeasible. "We need to find a way to coexist with Russia, even amidst difficulties," he stated.
