Bajaj Chetak will launch on 14 January. Initially, the company will sell it from the KTM showroom. However, gradually Bajaj will create new dealerships for the sale of this scooter. This electric scooter was introduced on 16 October last year. First of all, this scooter will be sold in Pune. It will then be available in Bengaluru and then other metro cities. Bajaj Chetak Electric is expected to be priced around Rs 1.20 lakh. In the market, the Bajaj Chetak scooter will compete with scooters like Okinawa i-Praze and Athar 450.

The Bajaj Chetak has a 4kW electric motor and an IP67-rated lithium-ion battery pack. Its battery is not removable, meaning it cannot be removed from the scooter. The scooter has two riding modes (Eco and Sport). The company claims that this electric scooter will run 95 km in Eco mode and 85 km in Sport mode once full charged.
