The reason for the recall, the company says that the supplier supplying parts of Maruti cars all over the world has reported that some defects have been found in the construction of the Motor Generator Unit (MGU). The Ciaz, Ertiga and XL6 have this part. Due to which these vehicles are being recalled, and Maruti has also said that if the affected vehicle is required to leave the service station, the dealers will also arrange for an alternative vehicle for the customer. Owners of affected Maruti Suzuki models can contact the company's dealerships from December 6, that is, Friday. Apart from this, customers can go to the company's website and enter the chassis number and get the information. Earlier in August, Maruti recalled the 40,618 Wagon R with 1.0 liter. These cars have been built between November 15, 2018 to August 12, 2019. According to the company, there was a problem with the fuel hose falling part attached to the car's metal clamp.
