Diwali brings luck for struggling auto industry, increase by seven to ten percent

This is because of the boom in sales in the festive season. Compared to last year, this year there has been a jump of five to seven per cent in the sales of automakers on Navratri, Dussehra and Dhanteras. Sales of Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai cars between Navratri and Dussehra rose by seven to ten per cent this year. The sales of both car companies, which rule 67 to 70 percent of the country, have seen a significant jump till October 25. At the same time, the country's number three carmaker Mahindra has also registered a 100 percent jump in sales on Dhanteras.

It is worth noting that from Navratri to Dussehra, Maruti Suzuki has delivered more than 60 thousand cars, while Hyundai Motor has delivered 25 thousand cars. At the same time, Maruti Suzuki delivered 45 thousand cars on Dhanteras, while Hyundai's figure was 14 thousand cars. Maruti car sales were higher in Navratri and Dussehra this year than last year, which continued till Dhanteras. During this period, the highest demand for vehicles was in the north and east states, which accounted for 50 to 55 percent of the total sales of passenger cars and two-wheelers. At the same time, Hyundai has also admitted that there has been a 10 per cent jump in sales in Navratri, and has also performed well on Dhanteras. At the same time, retail sales on Dhanteras have increased by 30 percent over the last year. At the same time, it is still seven to eight percent less than the previous month and last year October.
