Did Ayushmann Khurrana's mother-in-law play the role of Trijata in Ramayan? Here's what Deepika says

Ever since the demoniac Trijata has been entered in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan, the news has been happening that the character has been played by Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana's mother-in-law Anita Kashyap. Apart from this, Sita in the Ramayana i.e. Deepika Chikliya has told these reports as false. In an interview to a media reporter, Deepika Chikalia said, 'The woman who played Trijatha was not an actress. I do not know her but know that she used to come from Surat. They had no children.

Along with this, she gave birth to a daughter after acting in Ramayana. Along with this she always used to tell me that I have worked in Ramayana so I have got a daughter. This was often talked about on the set as well. 'When Sunil Lahiri of Ramayana was asked about the role played by Trijata, he said,' I don't know him. No scene of Trijata has happened to me. At the same time, Trijata was an important character of the demoness in the serial Ramayana, which was always seen with Sita. When Sita was spending time in Ashoka Vatika, she was taken care of by Trijata. She considered Sita her daughter.

At the same time, Sita also shared her sorrows with Trijata. There is no evidence that Trijata's character is played by mother-in-law of Ayushman Khurana. Ayushmann Khurrana and Tahira Kashyap have also never spoken on this issue. But it has also become clear from the statement of Deepika Chikalia that Ayushman Khurana's mother-in-law has nothing to do with any character of Ramayana.
