Azhar Ali to continue as ODI captain for West Indies series: says PCB

On Monday, it was announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) that Azhar Ali will direct the side for the upcoming three-match One-Day International (ODI) series against West Indies.

After the retirement of the Misbah-ul-Haq, from the 50-over format after the World Cup last year, Azhar has been widely condemned for his uninspired captaincy.

The Twenty20 International (T20I) series, which is going to start in Dubai from Friday, will lead by the Sarfraz Ahmed, who earlier he had been tipped to replace Azhar as the captain for the 50-over format.
