New Delhi: Baba Ramdev and the Indian Medical Association (IMA) have been at loggerheads over the past few days amid the corona epidemic. Recently a video of Baba Ramdev surfaced. He had said that lakhs of people have died due to allopathic medicines. In an interview, Baba Ramdev has again spoken on the issue. Ramdev said, "I have apologised for my statement and I have also withdrawn the statement on allopathy. I respect all the health workers. I bow to him. One line did not remove my statement, it caused a problem. I did not make any official statement. It was like sitting among the workers, while someone made it live on Facebook. I had no such intention. He said there is no question of hatred for allopathy. I have no prejudice for anyone and I believe that allopathy saved millions of lives, but allopathy does not have medicines for many diseases." He hit back at the IMA saying that 90 per cent of the people have recovered from Yoga and Pranayama. Ayurveda is possible to treat many diseases, but Ayurveda is always humiliated in front of allopathy. Baba Ramdev said, "This institution filed a defamation case against me, but I should sue because the doctors of IMA talk to indecency." He said, "I respect 90 per cent of the doctors, but some doctors have looted. However, I will not do the same thing as them, because I have no inferiority complex for anyone."
