IT Major Wipro announced on Thursday that Badrinath Srinivasan has been named Managing Director for Southeast Asia. According to a release, Srinivasan will focus on Wipro's business growth, revenue expansion, client and influencer partnerships, talent development, and brand creation. He will also boost Southeast Asia's main markets, concentrating on significant agreements and strategic transformational engagements, according to the statement. Srinivasan was most recently the Asia leader for Infosys' Financial Services and Insurance businesses. Srinivasan has held several leadership positions in sales and consulting across the United States, Europe, and Asia-Pacific markets over his nearly 20-year tenure with the company, partnering with customers across industry verticals to steer their digital transformation agendas. He oversaw strategic efforts in Asia, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partner ecosystems, according to the statement. Wipro's CEO (APMEA), NS Bala, said Southeast Asia has long been a strategic emphasis for the company, and it is even more so now, with the region's growing demand for comprehensive digital transformation solutions, agility and scalability, specialised technology requirements, and innovation.
