Patna: Former Bihar MLA Rajan Tiwari has been arrested while fleeing to Nepal. He was arrested from the Nepal border. Rajan Tiwari's name had also cropped up in the attack on Virendra Pratap Shahi, who was an MLA from the Laxmipur assembly seat in Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh. In this incident, 4 persons including mafia don Sriprakash Shukla and Rajan Tiwari were made criminals. Due to this criminal act, Rajan Tiwari had become wanted by the Uttar Pradesh Police. This was the time when Rajan Tiwari moved to Bihar and started looking for political ground to avoid legal action.
