New Delhi: Anil Ambani's Reliance Power (R-Power) is ready to seal Bangla Power Project that had signed when PM Narendra Modi visited Bangladesh in June 2015 between R-Power and Bangladesh Power Development Board(BPDB).This project is the three-phase project, altogether worth $3 billion. The first phase of the project will be considered as India's largest Power Project of 750MW worth $1 billion to be delivered by any Indian Private Power Company. For Bangladesh, it will mark the single-largest FDI. The power plant will be set up in Meghnaghat area of Narayanganj district, around 40km southeast of Dhaka. The same deal is in the process, where R-Power will deliver gas but PetroBangla will use the full capacity of import terminal.
