Dhaka: Bangladesh star player Shakib Al Hasan (Shakib Al Hasan) is set to be punished for his poor behaviour on the field and misbehaving with the umpire. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is in the process of taking action against him and could be banned for the next four dhaka Premier League matches. The board has not yet issued an official statement in this regard, but Mohammedan Sporting Club Cricket Committee Chairman Masudujzaman confirmed this. 'We have not received any official letter yet, but we have learnt that the umpires' committee has recommended a four-match ban,' Masudujzaman said on Saturday, confirming the development that he would appeal to BCB to find out why the player of his stature resorted to such behaviour. Mentions that Shakib had crossed all the boundaries on the ground on Friday and was seen expressing his anger not once but twice in front of the on-field umpire. He also argued with opposition coach Khalid Mahmood, who is also the director of the BCB. The video of the incident went viral on social media after which Shakib apologised for his behaviour and admitted that he spoiled the fun of the match for the spectators.
