The decision of the calendar for the 2020-21 domestic session, the appointment of the conduct officer and the allocation of funds for the Association of Cricketers (ICA) will be included in the agenda at the apex council meeting to be held here on Sunday, February 16, 2020 of the BCCI.
According to the information, Justice DK Jain was appointed as the first Lokpal of the BCCI in February last year and after that he started to play a dual role as its conduct officer and he had interests against Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman and Kapil Dev. Confrontation related charges settled. It remains to be seen whether Jain will be retained for this responsibility or whether a board headed by Sourav Ganguly will appoint a new one.
Let us tell you that another issue will be included in the agenda for the nine-member council and that is to release funds to the ICA which is the first player association of India formed according to the recommendations of the Lodha panel appointed by the Supreme Court.
