BCCI president 'Anurag Thakur' and secretary 'Ajay Shirke' removed by SC

Supreme Court has removed Board of Control for Cricket in India President Anurag Thakur from the post. Along with him the court has also removed Ajay Shirke from BCCI Secretary position.

SC gave board time till 3 december to implement the reforms made by Lodha panel. The committe in 2015 suggested some changes in which the BCCI Works. In 2016, the court approved the recommendations and asked the BCCI to follow it.

The board didn't obeyed the rule and on december 16, the BCCI also rejected the suggestion of Lodha Comittee for appointing GK Pillai as auditor.
