The plea of S. Sreesanth for a review of his life ban has been rejected by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) as it said that it won't compromise on its zero tolerance policy towards corruption. On Sunday S.Sreesanth got a letter from the Rahul Johri who is BCCI CEO. The 34-year-old had earlier wrote to Committee of Administrators (CoA) appealing for revocation of his ban in the 2013 spot-fixing scandal. In 2013, Sreesanth was slapped with a one-year ban by the BCCI's disciplinary committee and was arrested on charges of spot-fixing during that year's Indian Premier League.
