Ahead of elections, leaders remember 'Prabhu Shri Ram,' Shivraj's minister said...

Bhopal: The assembly elections in MP are due at the end of 2023 and even before the elections, politics has started on Lord Shri Ram. MP's Culture and Tourism Minister Usha Thakur said that the 'Ram Van Gaman Path' will be ready soon. On Monday, minister Usha Thakur, while talking to the media, claimed that soon by forming the Ram Van Gaman Path Trust, the Ram Van Gaman Path scheme would be completed.

Usha Thakur said, "Ram Van Gaman Path is our dream project. The Ram Van Path Gaman Trust will be created on the lines of the Acharya Shankar Trust which we have created at Omkareshwar. In order to ensure that the work on this scheme can start at a fast pace, we have taken it out of the Department of Religion and included it in the Department of Culture." Congress has targeted the BJP over the same Ram Van Gaman Path scheme. In an interview, former minister PC Sharma said, "The BJP gained power fraudulently and after that, instead of working in the time it got, it was engaged in implementing the Hindutva agenda. Now before the elections, he is remembering Lord Shri Ram. While the Ram Van Gaman Path scheme was not only started in our government, it was also being worked on at a fast pace. Even the DPR of the project was ready, but the BJP for the last several years used to name the Ram Van Gaman Path only in its manifesto, not working on it."

In 2007, Shivraj Singh Chouhan had announced to make the Ram Van Gaman Path scheme in Chitrakoot, part of MP, but since then, the Ram Van Gaman path has not been prepared.
