Birth Anniversary: Mallika-e-Ghazal whose song steal rules the hearts of fans

Today is the birth anniversary of of Begum Akhtar, who is very famous in music world. Let me tell you that he is no longer in this world but people still like her songs. She was called Mallika-e-Ghazal for her singing and she had a strong attachment to music. It is said that she did not leave the singing even till the end of the death and besides singing and composing songs, she also acted in films. Let us tell you that Begum Akhtar was born on October 7, 1914 in Faizabad, UP and earlier her name was Akhtaribai Faizabadi.

At the same time she used to sing Ghazal, Thumri and Dadra and at the age of 15, Begum Akhtar gave her first stage performance. It is said that during this time, Sarojini Naidu also praised her songs and now talk about personal life, she married Istiak Ahmad Abbasi in the year 1945 and named her Begum Akhtar. After marriage, there were problems in the life of Begum Akhtar. Yes, her husband banned the singing of Begum Akhtar and due to this she could not sing the song for 5 years.

Let me tell you that the concert of Ahmedabad proved to be the last concert of his life and Begum Akhtar, who went to perform in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, died shortly after the concert. Let me tell you that on October 30, 1974, at the age of 60, she said goodbye to the world.
