State BJP Working Committee meeting today after defeat in Bengal Assembly elections

Kolkata: BJP suffered defeat in assembly elections in West Bengal. Meanwhile, the Bengal BJP Working Committee is scheduled to have meeting today. BJP National President JP Nadda himself will address the meeting through video conferencing. However, now that Mukul Roy has left the BJP, reports of several prominent BJP leaders also going to trinamool Congress are rife. In view of this, the party is going to keep an eye on several leaders including Rajiv Banerjee.

In fact, for the first time since the results of assembly elections in West Bengal, the BJP State Committee is going to meet today. Let us tell you that the meeting will be held at BJP's election office at Hastings in Kolkata and the meeting will be attended by senior leaders of the state along with central leaders. With this, Bengal unit president Dilip Ghosh will address the working committee at 12.30 pm while JP Nadda will address virtually at 4:30 pm.

BJP is reportedly monitoring the social media accounts of its leaders these days. The aim is to keep an eye on anti-party activities. In fact, even when the BJP MLAs had gone to meet the Governor in the past, there were about two dozen MLAs. The same has now been asked to attend the virtual meeting.
