Corona hit Bengali actor Soumitra Chatterjee in critical condition, admitted in ICU

Kolkata: After the sudden deterioration of the well-known Bengali film actor Soumitra Chatterjee, he was admitted to the ICU of a private hospital late Friday. Hospital sources gave information in this regard on Saturday. On October 5, 85-year-old Chatterjee's coronavirus report tested positive. Actors also suffer from many other diseases.

He has been admitted to the ICU to keep close watch. Let us tell you that he was admitted to the hospital on October 5, a day after he tested positive for corona, but his condition was stable at that time. Giving information, sources have told that Chatterjee was unwell for the last few days and reportedly he also had fever. Before becoming ill, the actor was busy shooting a documentary called 'Abhijan' directed by Parambrata Chattopadhyay.

He shot at Bharathalakshmi Studio on 1 October. The next shoot was to take place on 7 October. According to information given by sources, the actor has a chronic lung disease. Last year, he was admitted to the hospital for a few days due to pneumonia. Currently, fans are praying for their favorite artist to get well soon.
