On Saturday night at 10 pm, police raided a pub in Indiranagar in Bangalore and rescued 32 girls. They were forced to dance and do obscene work in front of the customers. Police had got information that the Mango Tree Pub located on the 80-feet road is being used like a dance bar and illegal activities are underway. When the police raided on Saturday, there were 32 girls and 60 customers. All the customers ran away after watching the police. On inquiring, the girls told that they were brought there every Friday and Saturday to dance. Most of the girls are from UP and West Bengal. In this case, the police have arrested six Pub employees. On inquiring, an employee named his owner Asif. Although it was later discovered that Asif was not the owner but only managed the pub. The police are engaged in finding the building owner. Earlier, the police had come to know about a person named Lakhani who had taken the building on the ease but in the investigation, it was revealed that Lakhani has passed away. The police is currently trying to reach the real merchandise of Pub. Police have taken girls as trafficking victims and sent them to the women's center. Police say that it is a strong case based on girls' statements and CCTV footage, though the police officials said that they will not take the name of someone unnecessarily as a pub owner but will continue to investigate.
