Bengaluru FC look to start afresh against buoyant East Bengal

Bengaluru FC suffered three consecutive defeats and the result saw the departure of their head coach Carles Cuadrat in the ongoing seventh season of the Indian Super League (ISL). However, interim coach Naushad Moosa is confident that BFC will bounce back when they take on SC East Bengal at Fatorda Stadium, Goa, on Saturday.

In an ISL realease, Moosa said,  "We have an important game tomorrow. The players know it. In these seven years, this has happened for the first time. We have lost three games in a row. It is not easy for them to digest. They want to bounce back. We have to leave behind everything and focus on the next game."

the overall standings, the Sunil Chhetri-led Bengaluru FC are placed at the sixth position whereas East Bengal are occupying the ninth-position at the moment. The match will be held at Fatorda Stadium. While Bengaluru FC are coming into this game on the back of a 3-1 loss at the hands of top-ranked Mumbai City FC, the SC East Bengal will be a bit confident after a tense 1-1 draw versus second-ranked ATK Mohun Bagan. Hence, both teams are entering this clash on the back of facing two in-form sides.
