Mamata Banerjee after victory says, 'Nandigram defeat was a conspiracy..'

Kolkata: West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has won the Assembly by-election from Bhavanipur by a record number of votes. Mamata Banerjee today defeated BJP candidate Priyanka Tibrewal. She defeated BJP candidate Priyanka Tibrewal by 58,000, 832 votes. Mamata Banerjee did not forget Nandigram's defeat even after winning. Recently, he has made a statement. In this statement, she said, "Nandigram was defeated by conspiracy, but the people of Bhavanipur and Bengal have responded.'

At the same time, he announced to contest by-election from Shantipur to Brajkishore Goswami, Udayan Guha from Dinhata, Shobhandev Chattopadhyay from Khardah. Let me tell all of you that the name of Gosaba candidate is Bapaditya Naskar and Subrata Mandal and Mamata Banerjee has announced to take a decision in this regard later. Let me tell all of you that Mamata Banerjee has been winning the last two elections from her home seat Bhavanipur, but in the assembly elections, Mamata Banerjee contested from Nandigram and lost to Shubhendu Adhikari.

However, BJP had suffered a crushing defeat in the assembly elections and TMC had won 213 seats and thus Mamata Banerjee became CM for the third time. There were also a lot of riots in Bengal after Mamata Banerjee became CM. After the victory today, Mamata Banerjee said, "All the mothers and sisters, colleagues and people of All Bengal, the people of India who were waiting for this result. Thank you everybody.''
