Successful testing of corona vaccine on rat and rabbit, antibodies eliminate virus

New Delhi: The WA manufacturer company Zydus will soon test the coronavirus vaccine on humans. The company says that it has received permission for human trials of the vaccine. Zydus is the second company in India to make a vaccine for the coronavirus indigenously. State-run Bharat Biotech is also making a vaccine to fight against the coronavirus. The company has said that it will be launched only by August 15.

Zydus said on Friday that the Coronavirus vaccine is being prepared at its Vaccine Technology Center in Ahmedabad. The company said that it has also received permission from the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) and the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) to conduct trials on humans. Speaking to a private news channel, Zydus Cadila chairman Pankaj R Patel said that his company started work on the coronavirus vaccine in March. He said that we got good results. He said that the antibodies to this medicine were able to kill the virus.

Pankaj R Patel said that the vaccine was tested on rats, guinea pig, and rabbit. During this time, the antibodies produced by this drug were able to kill the virus. He said, "We have got the approval of the clinical trial yet. Clinical trial of this drug will be done on 1000 volunteers. We will study the effects of the vaccine for 90 days. After this, we will decide on releasing the vaccine."
