Vaccine maker Bharat Biotech has said that Maharashtra is set to offer 85 lakh doses in the next six months. Replying to a letter from the Maharashtra government, Bharat Biotech has said that it can pay five lakh doses in the month of May. So that the government can start the third phase of the vaccination campaign. According to the company, a dose of the vaccine will remain for Rs 600. The company has demanded an advance payment system from the government. The company says 5 million in May while 10 million doses in June and July and 20 million doses in August and September could supply. Nawab Malik has said that" Maharashtra government will float an international tender for a free anti-covid-19 vaccine for adult citizens below the age of 45 years and vaccination drive will start from May 1 and state government funds will be used for the same".
