"The journey from victim to survivor," actress Bhavana Menon says, opening up about a tragedy she experienced five years ago. The Malayalam actress finally speaks out about actor Dileep's assault case. "For five years now, my name and my identity have been suppressed under the weight of the abuse inflicted on me," she said on Instagram.

"Though I was not the one who committed the crime, there have been numerous attempts to humiliate, silence, and isolate me," she continued in her post. However, there have been moments when others have stepped up to help me keep my voice alive. Now that so many people are speaking up for me, I know I'm not alone in my struggle for justice."

Bhavana also expressed her gratitude to everyone for their support, promising to continue on her quest to see justice triumph. "I will continue on this road until justice is served, wrongdoers are brought to justice, and no one else has to go through such an agony." She expressed her gratitude to all those who are standing by her side, saying, "A heartfelt thankyou for your love."

Bhavana is addressing the abduction, assault, and molestation case that happened in Kochi in 2017. Dileep, a Malayalam actor, is alleged to be the primary suspect in the actress' assault case. According to Indian law, the Indian media and police have withheld Bhavana's name and identify.
