STORY: He is like any ordinary guy with an extraordinary consciousness towards his society. Neither does he jump off from skycrapers nor does wear fancy suits. His destiny brings him to circumstances where he moulds himself into a vigilante. The story revolves around three college mates Harshavardhan Kapoor, Priyanshu Painyuli and Ashish Verma and encircles the various social issues that Bhavesh Joshi stands against. ACTING: Harshvardhan has been impressive playing the protagonist and has definitely progressed in terms of his acting skills when compared to his debut movie “Mirzya”. Priyanshu Painyuli wins hearts with the most impressive performance. The supporting cast has held the movie even stronger. DIRECTION: The first half of the movie is genuinely engrossing. But the movie tends to lose its pace in the second half. The story makes sense and does not feel like a counterfeit or an imitation of a Hollywood movie. Vikramaditya Motwani has broadened the aspect of heroism. His direction is precise and does not feel boredom. He does not overstretch emotions, rather brings out the real issues with utmost sensitivity. MUSIC: The music is quirky with sensible lyrics. Hence Amit Trivedi has done a commendable job. “Chavanprash” might dissapoint you on columns of lyrics. “Hum hain insaaf” is impressive.
