Bheed, an upcoming movie starring Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar, will be released on March 24. Director Hansal Mehta posted his review of the movie on Twitter.
Praising the movie and Rajkumar Rao the Director wrote: "#Bheed in theatres tomorrow. This film besides being an important document of our times is dramatic and engaging with perhaps one of the best ensembles since Maqbool. @RajkummarRao is superlative in his portrayal of a conflicted ‘in-charge’. @anubhavsinha is on top of his game." Further he added in the comments, "Pankajji (Pankaj Kapur), Virubhai (Veerendra Saxena), Ashutosh Rana, Aditya Shrivastava, Bhumi and the entire cast put together by @CastingChhabra is terrific. Particularly heartbreaking is Aditi Subedi. Don’t miss #Bheed."

The filma focuses on the difficulties faced by migrant workers in India during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020 and compares the situation with that of India's 1947 Partition. The Bheed is produced by Anubhav's Benaras Mediaworks. Dia Mirza, Kritika Kamra, Virendra Saxena, Aditya Srivastava, and Karan Pandit are also featured in Bheed.
Rajkumar Rao will play the lead role in the biopic of the blind industrialist Srikanth Bolla titled Sri. With Shraddha Kapoor, he will also appear in the film Stree2. He last appeared with Radhika Apte and Huma Qureshi in the Netflix movie Monica O My Darling. Bhumi Pednekar will star in 'The Lady Killer' it also star Arjun Kapoor. With Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet, she will also appear in the meri patni ka remake.
