Old tweet on Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar Azad trending, people demanding for arrest

These days Azad Samaj Party National President Chandrashekhar Azad is seen surrounded. The reason is his three-year-old tweet. Now, the National Commission for Women has taken cognizance of the tweet made by Bhim Army Chief Chandrashekhar Azad on women. Chairperson Rekha Sharma has written a letter to DGP Uttar Pradesh requesting strict action against Azad so that cyber crimes against women can be stopped.

Azad has come into the trend on Thursday. On social media, users have trended the 'Arrest Chandrashekhar' hashtag. After a few hours, there were two lakh tweets on this matter. Demand began to rise. After increasing resentment on social media, Saharanpur police came into action.

Chandrashekhar Azad has made his clarification by tweeting. He said that some tweets of vulgar language on women are going viral from my account, which is extremely condemnable. Also, he said that I was in Jail for violence in Saharanpur from 8 June 2017 to 14 September 2018. All the controversial tweets are from the same period. I am not aware in this regard. I respect women a lot. He said that his account was created in February 2018 and that in September 2018. I have been released from jail. He clarified that a worker gave this account to him after his release.
