BSP will contest against Congress in MP by elections

The BSP, which supported the Congress government led by Kamal Nath in MP, will now contest the by-elections in 27 seats in the state. The party has decided to field its candidates in the by-elections. This decision has shocked the Congress, because when the state had Kamal Nath's government, the BSP gave its support to the Congress during that time. Now Congress vote is likely to be affected by fighting elections in every seat.

Congress and BJP are constantly preparing plans for the by-elections. Meanwhile, Bahujan Samajwadi Party has also entered the electoral arena. BSP leaders held a meeting at Bhopal headquarters to prepare for the by-election. In this meeting, state in-charge of the party Ramji Gautam, state president Ramakant Pippal and all the officials were present. In the meeting, it was decided that the party will contest the by-elections in all the 27 seats of the state. The party will field its own candidates and will not tie up with anyone.

Bahujan Samajwadi Party has also intensified the exercise regarding candidate selection. The influence of Bahujan Samajwadi Party is being told on many seats of the by-election. The BSP exercises its influence over the vote bank here. However, the BSP is the only legislator in the state. BSP MLA Sanjeev Kushwaha said that the party will fight by-elections in all the seats. Candidates are being selected. The party has already cleared its vote. It will fight alone in the elections. On December 2019, the BSP has expelled party MLA Rambai from Patharia. BSP supremo Mayawati had expelled the MLA Ramabai Parihar of the party from the party for supporting the Citizenship Amendment Act.
