New Delhi: CM Bhupesh Baghel said after a long meeting with former party national president Rahul Gandhi on Friday that he has spoken his heart out to his leader and Rahul Gandhi will visit the state next week at an invitation from him "as chief minister." Baghel, who came out after a marathon meeting of about three and a half hours with Rahul Gandhi, did not give a clear answer to the question asked on the formula for the post of CM and only said that Congress's Chhattisgarh in-charge PL Punia did what. It was said in the last days after that nothing remains. In fact, after the meeting of Baghel and Chhattisgarh Health Minister TS Singh Deo with Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday, Punia had said that there was no discussion of a change about leadership. Baghel also said that political issues and schemes related to the development of the state were discussed in the meeting with Rahul Gandhi. According to him, the 'Gujarat model' has now failed and the 'Chhattisgarh model' has to be presented to the country. Congress Party National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Organisation General Secretary KC Venugopal, and PL Punia were present at the meeting which lasted for nearly three and a half hours at Rahul Gandhi's residence. After the meeting, Baghel told the press, 'All issues were discussed. Discussions were also held on the programs and schemes of Chhattisgarh. I spoke my heart out to my leader.'
