Raipur: In Chhattisgarh, CM Bhupesh Baghel has said that he will resign immediately on the direction of the high command over the alleged two-and-a-half-year formula of the CM post. Replying to a press question before his visit to Sarguja area on Friday, Baghel said, "I am talking to you now and the high command directs that if I resign, I will resign. I have taken this responsibility on the direction of the high command. If the high command speaks, I will resign immediately." Bhupesh claimed that he had no fascination with the post. The responsibility that has been given to him is discharging that post. He said that the people who create misunderstandings like this are not doing the interest of the state. Baghel said that the people who are suffering in seeing the development of Chhattisgarh are saying this kind of a thing. In Chhattisgarh, Congress had entrusted the state President Bhupesh Baghel with the responsibility of CM post after the Congress won by a ragged majority in the assembly elections held in the year 2018. Baghel was sworn in as Chief Minister on December 17, 2018. Senior leader TS Singhdev and MP Tamrapat Sahu also took oath as ministers.
