Facebook is the largest and most used social media platform in the world. The company is focusing on how to make the platform more user friendly and easy to understand. In its new redesign for users in India, it has taken a step to make the app more user friendly. Amid its new redesign for Indian users, the Facebook page has removed the Like button for users in the country and also reduced the focus on followers of a page.
The design of the same Facebook pages was launched in January this year and is now being rolled out in India. According to the new design and user interface of Facebook pages, the layout has been simplified and more intuitive, including a dedicated news feed section that will allow users to engage in conversations, follow trends, discuss with peers and connect with fans.
In its official statement, Facebook reported, "This will make it easier to follow trends, interact with colleagues and connect with fans. Dedicated news feed will also suggest new connections such as other public figures, pages, groups, and trending content that care scares a page or public. The new redesign of Facebook pages comes with a great security that will be able to detect restricted activity such as abusive language, violence, sexual, or spammed content and impersonation than before.
