New Delhi: The general public seems to be getting a big relief amid the increasing cases of covid infection in the capital Delhi. The Delhi government on Friday announced that the price of the covid test has been reduced. Now RT-PCR tests in all hospitals and pathology labs in Delhi are going to be conducted at a lower price than before.

A statement issued by the Delhi government on Thursday said that now only Rs 300 will have to be paid for conducting RT-PCR tests in Delhi. The people of the capital Delhi have to pay Rs 500 for the first test. The RT-PCR test is set to cost Rs 500 for taking home collection samples. Earlier, people had to pay Rs 700 for this test. With this, the price of rapid antigen tests in Delhi has now been fixed at Rs 100.

12,306 new corona cases in 24 hours: If we talk about corona infection cases in the capital Delhi, 12,306 new cases have been registered here in the last 24 hours. The virus has also claimed 43 lives. The corona infection rate in the capital is 21.48%. New cases may have declined for nearly five days, but the number of deaths has not decreased. So far this month, 352 people have lost their lives from Covid in the capital. This is more than the last several months.
