Raid in Jammu and Kashmir, big scandal involving GST came to fore

Goods and service techniques (GST), considered important in terms of tax, have exposed the fraud of Rs 150 crore in the name of input tax. In this case, GST teams raided many places in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.

According to sources, some people had created fake companies and in the last two years, these companies collected Rs 150 crore input tax in the name of selling 1500 crore rupees.

Two of these companies were from Srinagar, which was only on paper and they collected input under GST. Departmental teams raided Srinagar's bases in Srinagar and seized necessary documents. At present, the police has started investigating this matter.
